Never a dull moment. The despite the craziness and hardships, it's so beautiful here en el ranchito.

This is a long post, take your take with it. It’s long on purpose, I want you to see it as big as possible.

Las Carreras en Chisco. Always new experiences for me here. I’ve never witnessed these horse races before. It’s all unofficial: if you bring a horse, you can race. It’s that simple.

Of course, I left out one of the best photos I’ve ever taken. Deserves a gallery of its own.

La Negra, Morelos, Mexico. April 2024.

Just the energy in the photo. The fierce look of La Negra’s face (the nickname of the rider), arm muscle tensed, the horse looking straight, running at full speed, the dirt caught in mid-air. Kind of envious, I want a photo like this with me riding haha. I love the photo in portrait mode and cropped in too, just so many options here.

Jaripeos y bailes de Chisco. Bullriding while the banda is playing, Epic announcer guy. Drag Queens, cervezas, and a baile afterwards. This is it. I’m not the best at night photography, especially without my equipment. Downsides of travelling without only one carry-on.
